The port continued its development process, and in 2004, with 15 docks, it has the capability of up to 15.1 million tons of cargo annually.

Kota Kinabalu Port

Kota Kinabalu Port has 12 berths, each of which can accommodate vessels of 16,000 displacement tonnes. The port has three warehouses and five open storage areas available for general cargo and containers. It is equipped with modern handling equipment. "Stevedoring" and round the clock security services are provided.
